Simple. Powerful. Precise.
Nuix began in 2000 with a vision of making vast quantities of unstructured data easily searchable. The first six years were 100% focused on research and development in Australia, resulting in a world-class and unique data processing engine. The engine could ingest well-known email and forensic formats and make them instantly searchable to find critical evidence or information. It enabled users to interact with data at a similar speed to an internet search engine but with significantly more granularity and investigative power.
Since commercializing Nuix software in 2006, we have perfected our parallel processing engine, as well as upgrading and expanding functionality around it to enable the most powerful and intuitive search across a virtually unlimited quantity of unstructured data. This data can be collected and searched offline, as is normally the case with investigations and eDiscovery, or analyzed and managed in situ with our information governance products and solutions.
In 2011, Nuix purchased the assets and employed the development team of MicroForensics. This acquisition gave us industry-leading capabilities for collecting vast quantities of data from desktop and laptop computers, networks and Microsoft SharePoint systems.
In recent years Nuix has grown rapidly, building marquee customers and an enviable reputation with leading advisory firms, litigation support providers, enterprises, government departments, law enforcement agencies, and all of the world’s major corporate regulatory bodies. As of 2012 we have customers in over 30 countries, as well as staff and offices in North America, Europe, the UK, India, Singapore and Australia. Our development teams are located in Australia and the United States.
Today, Nuix is a worldwide provider of unstructured data management technologies for eDiscovery, electronic investigation and information governance.
It may sound trite, but values and culture are very important to us. We are intensely proud of what we have achieved and will protect it vigorously by applying the values we agreed to when we started commercializing our software. They are:
- Our products do exactly what we say they are going to do when we release our software.
- We listen to our customers, seek their feedback and constantly bring out new features and capabilities to solve their business problems.
- We provide outstanding customer service all the time.
- We strive to deliver the most reliable, easy to deploy solution in the world.
- We are good people to do business with. When we shake someone's hand, say something in an email or have a conversation, we live up to what we said.
Living up to these values has given Nuix a strong competitive advantage. We will continue to use them boldly to build better products, maintain our reputation with customers for product quality and customer service, and attract the best talent in the industry.
